This is how I planned and pictured my bento to be last night: quail eggs sitting in a potato "nest" with carrot flowers blooming and a broccoli tree with chicken wing as tree trunks. Wah~~~ what a wonderful garden theme! But guess what? It didn't happen at all. After I wrapped the mashed potato (with diced cucumber and ham with mayo and seasoning-- yummy!!) around the egg, it doesn't turn out to be what I expected. Heck. I was running late for school. So I just dumped everything into the boxes.
Today's menu: (1)mashed potato (2)quail egg (3)sausage octopus (4)carrots (5)seaweed wrapped chicken (6)home-made baked chicken wings (7)broccoli (8)star shaped kaya bread (9)agar agar.
This is Clement's favourite bento so far.
Bento 6.1 Clement's. Men need more carbohydrates so he gets 2 potato nests.
Bento 6.2 HappyPig's. I like this bento box! It has 2 tier and it has a handle!
Bento 6.3 Mine. Must use the lunch boxes I bought yesterday.
Anyway, I went to Daiso this evening and I bought MORE stuff. New arrival at the bento section: extremely cute disposable bento boxes! $2 for a set of 2. I put them in my basket, put them back. Pick them up from the shelves again, hesitated, and put them back. This went on a few times and finally I decided to be a more environmental friendly person. Ahem!
