Bento #7

Joyce, I have let you down. I need art lessons.

This is the assignment you gave me 2 days ago. Looks easy!

But look at my end product. I was even hesitant to tell Jaimie that that were actually piggies that mommy was trying to mould.

Anyway, i realised another thing. There is no need to mould the rice for Jaimie. She doesn't really appreicate it and it makes eating difficult for her. In the end, I need to smash up the onigiri for her. =_= Shouldn't have spent the time to shape them in the first place, lah.

I am not going to use a hole puncher for the eyes so I used the primitive method-- scissors. I have cut about a dozen eyes but none were round enough. This is Clement's dinner. I tried to write the word "PIG" on the broccoli in case he was wondering what were those 2 animals. I think he couldn't even tell what I wrote on the vegetables. Sigh.
The only consolation: Jaimie happily ate the bento side dishes except the onigiri.
